Chinese researchers have developed a low-cost photocatalyst (MoS2/CdS co-catalysts) The H2 rate increased by more than '30 times when loaded with only 0.2 wt % of MoS2, even higher than photocatalysts loaded with different noble metals, such as Pt, Ru, Rh, Pd, and Au.' Another example of innovation around nanoscale materials science that improves hydrogen conversion efficiencies and reduces costs.
