The Economist highlights coming sweet spot applications in the robotic industrial age around lower costs and improved performance. The focus is now on programming software, safety, non-factory applications, creative applications (e.g. playing music)and improving their interface with humans in receiving instructions. A new step along the 'hype cycle' of robotics .
