“We have to make the world aware, in a clear way, what scientific options are coming up – the technological applications, impacts, and kinds of choices,” said Jerome Glenn, Director of the Millennium Project. In this second of a two-part interview, Glenn talks to EarthSky’s Jorge Salazar about the 2008 State of the Future Report – a comprehensive look at future trends in world affairs compiled by scientists and other experts – and why he’s optimistic about the role of science in the world’s future.
